Event Information

Man on the Run is a 5k walking/running event for men 7yrs+ that has been devised to raise awareness of prostate cancer.  Sponsored by Dove Men+Care and XL Group.

Participants are encouraged to raise funds to support local Men’s Health Initiative such as the Annual FREE Health Screening Clinic and Men’s Health Vouchers which cover the cost of and annual physical, all with a focus on prostate cancer.   Increase your fundraising by asking if your company will match the funds you raise!  Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre Charity #070.

Number pick up:

Saturday November 8, 9:30am-12:30pm at Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre, event shirts will be given on first come basis based on receipt of your entry form. 

Late registration on morning of event between 7:30-8am only.

Race Course:

Start 8:30am and Finish on Morgan Rd. outside Warwick Academy south west entrance. Morgan Rd., turn left onto Middle Rd., continue east to Valley Rd., make left onto Valley Rd to Harbour Rd., make left and continue west to Morgan Rd., head south along Morgan Rd to finish line.

Prizes will be given in each age category:

  • 10-13 years
  • 14-19 years
  • 20-29 years
  • 30-39 years
  • 40-49 years
  • 50+ years

The race was conceived by Clifford S. Roberts Jr., a Police Sergeant with 26 years service in the Bermuda Police Service, who is a runner and cyclist himself.
