Digital Mammography Screening Diagnostic Services Digital mammography for breast cancer screening and diagnosis.

We perform 600-700 mammograms each month, making breast cancer early detection one of our primary functions in Bermuda's healthcare system.

For: Women 40+ for routine screening; all ages for diagnostic imaging

Bone Densitometry Screening Screening for osteoporosis and bone health assessment. Available at BCHC since 2000, updated with new technology in 2022.

For: Women at menopause onset; anyone with osteoporosis risk factors

Cancer Genetics & Risk Assessment Genetic counseling, testing, and ongoing management for those with hereditary cancer risk.
Quarterly clinics with Dr. Kevin Hughes, Medical University of South Carolina and Harvard Medical School.

For: Those with strong family history or known genetic mutations

Breast Biopsy Minimally invasive tissue sampling to determine whether a breast abnormality is cancer.

Performed on-site with dedicated support throughout.

Ultrasound Service Breast imaging to evaluate abnormalities, particularly useful for dense breast tissue. Also used to guide biopsy procedures.

Radiation Therapy Comprehensive cancer treatment including state-of-the-art radiation therapy, oncology nursing support, and coordinated care. We can treat 95% of all cancers where radiation is recommended.
