LungSmart Programme

Smoking is the leading cause of premature, preventable death.

It harms nearly every bodily organ and organ system in the body and diminishes a person's overall health, causing cancers of the lung, oesophagus, larynx, mouth, throat, kidney, bladder, liver, pancreas and stomach, to name a few.

This aim of this FREE programme is to educate children using interactive evidence based presentations on the dangers of tobacco so that they can make informed decisions regarding smoking.  Community presentations are provided to encourage smokers to quit for their health as well as the health of those around them.
