Crafting for a Cause - Garden of Light

Join us in creating a meaningful tribute for Relay For Life of Bermuda 2025!

These craft workshops will bring the community together to design pieces for the Garden of Light, a display honouring survivors, remembering loved ones, and supporting those facing cancer. Every flower crafted—Luminaria flowers, paper flowers, and plastic bottle flowers—will serve as a symbol of resilience, unity, and hope, lighting up both the Relay event and a special Cancer Survivors Month exhibition in June.

What We’re Crafting:

🌸 Lumiaria Flowers – Decorated boxes that will decorate the Relay venue.
🎨 Paper Flowers – Large handcrafted symbols of life, growth, and strength.
🌿 Plastic Bottle Flowers – Repurposed from collected soda bottles.

These diverse flowers will add to the luminaria garden, reflecting the many paths of the cancer journey and the strength found in community support.

Beyond Relay – The Cancer Survivors Month Exhibition

The flowers created in these workshops will not only enhance the Garden of Light at Relay For Life but will also be showcased in a special exhibition during Cancer Survivors Month in June. This exhibition will celebrate survivorship and highlight the power of community support, with some crafted pieces transformed into art gallery installations.
