Who is a cancer survivor?

A survivor is defined as anyone living with a history of cancer – from the moment of diagnosis through the remainder of life. And National Cancer Survivors Day affords each community an opportunity to demonstrate that it has an active, productive cancer survivor population.

More Information

National Cancer Survivors Day (http://www.ncsd.org/) is an annual, worldwide Celebration of Life that is held on the first Sunday in June. Follow on Twitter at http://twitter.com/SurvivorsDay.

This is the day each year that people around the world pause to honor all those who are living with a history of cancer. It's also a day to acknowledge the contributions of the families, friends, healthcare providers, and scientists who support survivors in their fight for life.
