September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month and Friday Sept. 13 we ask you to wear teal to celebrate the many brave women who fought this cancer and honors those who have passed.

In recognition of Ovarian Cancer awareness month (September), a group of women, family and friends have come together to launch a campaign to promote Ovarian cancer awareness, it’s treatments, signs and symptoms and general education of ovarian cancer.

In an effort to launch this campaign island wide, the committee have come together and proposed several different initiatives to promote awareness.  The overall theme is "Break the Silence - Ovarian Cancer Awareness in September."
