The AXA XL Man on the Run 5K brings men and boys across Bermuda together around something that matters: their health.
The male-only run and walk uses sport, community and a little friendly competition to make conversations about men's health easier to start. It encourages men to think about prevention, understand their own health and family history, and seek advice when something doesn't feel right.
But registration is only the beginning.
Participants are encouraged to fundraise, start conversations and lead by example in their workplaces, schools, sports clubs, families and communities.
Every dollar raised through the AXA XL Man on the Run 5K stays in Bermuda.
Funds raised support local men's health initiatives and help remove financial barriers to cancer care. Through Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre's no co-pay commitment, everyone can access our services without a co-pay, including cancer prevention sessions, cancer navigation, oncology nursing and consultations, and radiation therapy.
Our cancer navigation service is available to anyone in Bermuda diagnosed with cancer, whether or not they receive their treatment at the Centre.
Registration gets you to the start line. Fundraising takes your impact further.
Create your fundraising page, ask friends, family and colleagues to support you, and check whether your employer offers a matching gift programme.
Together, we're aiming to raise $27,000 for men's health in Bermuda.
