Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre
Our small island community sees an average of 300 cancer diagnoses annually with a heart-breaking 80 patients losing the battle against the disease every year. With one in three residents likely to get cancer diagnosis in their lifetime, cancer will touch nearly every family on the island.
67% of all cancer patients will need radiation therapy at some point during their care cycle. Currently, this therapy is not available in Bermuda forcing those in need to travel overseas to seek out treatment. This comes with significant financial costs that 18% of our population cannot afford due to being uninsured or underinsured.
Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre as a non-profit which means that your support is critical to make the impact we envision.
All we need now is the continued support of our Bermuda family in raising the funds needed to bring the centre to reality.
