March 2, 2015, I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer. In despair, I asked God to guide me, as I have never been this sick before. Before I knew it, this became a race for my life.

I had both of my breast removed on June 5, 2015 and commenced Chemotherapy the following month. I have three wonderful children, partner, son in-law, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and the awesome people that I work with at the Department of Health as my support.

My journey has brought me closer to God, for without him I would be lost. My mind, spirit, body and soul are free. On March 9, 2016 I will embark on the journey of reconstruction.  On this journey I hope that I can give hope and share love with someone else.
