Survivors & Caregivers

“Relay honours those people who have been directly affected by cancer.”

What is the Survivors and Caregivers lap?

The first lap of Relay honours cancer Survivors, with caregivers joining at the 1/2 way mark in coloured sashes honouring their important roles. Participants gather around the track to applaud the courage and strength shown by those completing the lap. With motivation levels high, all participants walk the second lap together.

Who can take part?

All cancer Survivors and Caregivers are welcome to take part in the walk, whether they are part of a team or not. Survivors are those who have heard the words "You have Cancer." A caregiver is a person whose life has been touched by a diagnosis of cancer by someone they know. Simply put, a caregiver is someone who has cared for someone with cancer.

Register for the Survivors' and Caregivers' lap

We come together at our annual Relay For Life of Bermuda event to celebrate cancer Survivors and their Caregivers. No one should face cancer alone. So whether you’re a Survivor or Caregiver, getting involved in our local Relay For Life, can introduce you to others who are facing similar challenges and create opportunities for sharing stories, friendship and hope.

Survivors

Survivors are the guest of honour at Relay For Life. Register here, and we will connect you with our Survivor Chair persons who will keep you abreast of this year's event details.
