Rona Donawa
Rona Donawa BS RT (R) (MR)
Rona Graduated in 1997 from Quinnipiac College in Hamden, Connecticut with a Bachelors degree in Radiologic Science.
She returned home to Bermuda to work at the KEMH in the general Radiography Department. She trained in the CAT Scan Department to provide support and on-call coverage as needed.
In 2001 Rona enrolled in a MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) program at the Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan, and returned home as the first trained and certified MRI technologist on the island.
She worked to supervise and train staff in MRI Dept at KEMH for 4 years before venturing overseas where Rona was fortunate to work at the Kaiser Permanente Hospital in San Diego, California for 2 years as a MRI Technologist.
In February 2009 Rona joined the BCHC Mammography Team and hopes to become Board certified in Mammography by late 2010.
