FIRST INTERNATIONAL CENTRE TO ACHIEVE
First International Centre to achieve:
With the 2019 Relay For Life of Bermuda event behind us and donations still rolling in, the volunteer event committee would like to thank everyone who was a part of this extraordinary event.
It is like a puzzle that comes together. Each piece reliant on the next to complete the picture.
Event sponsors whose donations cover 100% of the event cost, meaning that every dollar raised by teams and spent by the attendees supports funding equal access to early cancer detection and radiation therapy so that no one has miss an appointment because they cannot afford the service.
Volunteers who work tirelessly as an extension of the volunteer event committee to ensure the smooth rollout of the event and safety of the participants.
The team captains who recruit fabulous teams and bring the spirit of Relay to life and the entertainment and activities who revitalise tired souls and who kept us moving to the beat and walking the track for 24hrs because cancer doesn't sleep and neither did we.
All the puzzle pieces together reveal a community who came together to Celebrate, Remember and Fight Back!
Thank you. We will continue to share pictures, stories and fundraises over the next few weeks. And we look forward to hearing from each of you as you reflect on Relay For Life 2019.
