SunSmart Summer Camps

In 2009, we expanded our program to accredit camps with a core educational and awareness focus. The accreditation standard requires summer camps to: participate in staff training; develop and submit (for review) a 'Sun Protection Policy'; participate in a camp evaluation process which includes a survey that evaluates product usage and level of adherence to the camp's policy.
