Elizabeth Rego

A. Elizabeth Rego RT (R) NMT (Hons.)

Elizabeth graduated in 1998 from Universidad Nacional de Cuyo, Mendoza in Argentina with a university degree in Diagnostic Imaging (Radiology).   When she finished her formal training, she had the opportunity to work at the Department of Nuclear Medicine at Hospital Español de Mendoza, Argentina for over 7 years.

In 2000 she enrolled in a nuclear medicine programme offered by CNEA (National Atomic Energy Commission) and FUESMEN (The Foundation School of Nuclear Medicine) in Argentina and obtained her Diploma (Hons.) in 2002.

Elizabeth moved to Bermuda and in 2009 worked at KEMH, providing support to the Nuclear Medicine Department.  In October 2009, she joined the Bermuda Cancer and Health Mammography team. Elizabeth continues her training and in March 2010, she attended a course in Initial Training in Mammography and Digital Mammography in Tampa, Florida. She is also working to become Board Certified in Mammography.
