Breast Biopsy
A breast biopsy is a minimally invasive procedure to remove a small sample of breast tissue for laboratory testing. Breast biopsy is considered the best way to evaluate a suspicious area in your breast to determine if it is breast cancer. There are several types of breast biopsy procedures and your physician and our Breast Specialist Dr. David Green will discuss which procedure is best for you.
Who will perform my breast biopsy?
Our Clinical Director, Dr. David Green is a Breast Specialist and Consultant Radiologist.
Dr. Green is a member of the British Society of Breast Radiology (BSBR) and has more than 22 years of experience in the field of breast imaging and conducting breast biopsies.

From the moment you walk through our doors, you will be directed to a dedicated Mammography Technologist who will guide you through the check-in process and answer any questions you may have. Your Technologist will remain with you throughout the biopsy.
This on-site procedure is designed to reduce the amount of time, anxiety and inconvenience you experience from the moment you discover a breast abnormality to diagnosis and follow-up. Each patient will receive personal and confidential service from our team of dedicated Physicians, Technologists and Nursing Staff.
After your procedure is completed you will be cared for by one of our nurses who will help answer any additional questions you may have and will assist you by providing information about community resources you may find helpful.
