Cancer Resource Centre
A diagnosis of cancer can be frightening, but where there is hope there is healing, not just for the cancer journey and/or the survivor but also for their family, caregivers and friends.
It is important that we all learn about cancer, and to help our community along this path to hope and healing. The Cancer Resource Centre offers a variety of educational, inspirational and positive materials to assist along the way on this unknown journey called life.
Empowering patients, families, caregivers and the public to make informed decisions and become active partners in their health care is an important focus for The Bermuda TB Cancer & Health Association.
The Cancer Resource Center is a lending library service with a growing comprehensive collection of print, audiovisual and computer resources on all aspects of cancer, including: disease and treatment information, coping and support, talking with children, survivorship issues and more. It is located on the first floor in our new location at 46 Point Finger Road , Paget.
Our materials are available not only for those persons facing a diagnosis of cancer but also for family members/friends.
Use our internet-connected computers independently, or request a professional search for information on a specific topic.
We invite you to stop in and meet our caring staff, they will help you navigate our resources, and find the information you need, or help to point you in the right direction.
Working together we can, and will make a difference in the quality of life every person should experience, and light that path with the knowledge that hope and healing starts with all of us.
