FREE Men's Health Screening
Start Date: February 2nd
2012 12 noon - 6pm
Location: #6 Shed Front Street, Hamilton
The Men’s Health Screening Clinic is an initiative specifically targeted toward men over 40 yrs of age who are uninsured, or who do not visit their doctor on at least an annual basis, giving them an equal opportunity to see where they measure up on the scorecard of good health and, if needed, make the right changes to live healthier lives.
Men die, on average, six years younger than women. This is, in part, because women see their doctors more often. But the early death toll for men can be combated – in large part through early detection of disease and regular health check-ups. Health screenings can make this attainable for men.
