Cancer and Health Centre and the Bermuda Quilter's Guild have teamed up
to offer the breast cancer Quilt of Hope. Bermuda Quilter's Guild President
Dorothy Slatter said she was pleased to partner with the Bermuda Cancer
and Health Centre. It has donated the Quilt of Hope to raise funds for
breast cancer awareness. "The quilt was originally designed in Maryland
and completed in Bermuda," said Ms Slatter. October 21, 2008 The Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre is pleased to announce that the new digital mammography service has received international accreditation from The Canadian Association of Radiologists in Ottawa, Canada; evidence that its clients are receiving the highest quality screening and treatment. The Centre has always been accredited as a provider of analogue screening, but is now the first facility on the island to be accredited for digital examinations.
