A Message from the Chairman
A distinct spirit of empathy and caring has been an integral part of Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre since its founding as a tuberculosis screening centre in 1945. Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre is deeply committed to early detection of breast cancer and educating the public about all cancers and other meaningful health matters. This includes improving access to early detection options, creating education and screening programmes, and establishing partnerships in the community.
The qualified team at Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre is extremely focused on delivering the most caring and friendly experiences when our patients visit us. It certainly takes co-ordination, teamwork, the latest technology and dedication to help us along our way to becoming the Centre of excellence for the future. We recognize that cancer is a disease that does not discriminate between race, gender or income; as a result we are committed to educating our community about the prevention and early detection of cancer. We also believe that no one needs to face cancer alone and are committed to supporting our community as best as we can through all services we offer. Our team truly takes pride in being passionate, considerate, respectful and empathetic toward those individuals and families touched by cancer.
